This is a pair of pants I made in sewing class as an extra project.
I had a Pair of brown pants that I had bought from Le Chateau but brown isn't really my colour so I never wore them. So I cut them up for the pattern because they fit me really well and used random scraps of pin striped fabric that were laying around the sewing class. I had to figure out how to put a fly in by myself because it was the end of the year and the teacher was busy helping other people. I'm very happy with how they turned out, even though I probably made alot of mistakes, seeing as I didn't get any help and I didn't have a pattern to follow. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. well. I did try. I made an awesome pair for orientation day and they fell apart in a bad place. I had to run cross legged to the university bookstore to buy sweatpants for $20. it was embarassing.

for the (eh hem) crotch area, or any other area under lots of stress, do an extra line of stitching right next to the first one on the seam, that will give the garment more durability!

I can't say I learned to do the zipper by myself, I had already learned that previously. It was the fact that it was the fly that was new to me.
But thats just me being humble ^^'
