This is the second skirt I made from this [link] pattern.
I used the corduroy from my grad dress obi [link] and found the lace lying sround the sewing room. It was pretty much made because I was bored at the end of the year and wanted to use up the material. Also, because I thought a corduroy skirt would be nice to have. The pleats are really heavy and thick, though. They posed a bit of a finishing challenge seeing as the surger wouldn't go over all of the layers. However, it was just a matter of separating the layers to be serged, so it wasn't so bad. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
